Our son has attended for the past 3 years and the teachers here are so supportive and understanding. They really concentrate on making everyone do their best. If you are interested in getting your child into martial arts then this is one of the best I have come across

My child has attended this class for several years. It's fun, promotes positivity and builds an "anything is possible with focus and hard work" mindset. It also gives children the skills and confidence to defend and protect themselves should they be attacked. The instructors are wonderful and the demonstrations show the beauty of the martial art. All in all, it is a wonderful class and I thoroughly recommend it.

Evolution TKMA is simply the best school for learning Martial Arts. They teach Mirae Kuk Sool and it is by far the greatest style of Martial Art to learn. All the instructors are fantastic, they are friendly and help you achieve far beyond any expectations. I only wish I started attending sooner.

I have been studying martial arts for 20 years, various styles and systems, never have I experienced the camaraderie or welcoming and motivational atmosphere that exists within this school. Regardless of ability, level of fitness, race or religious belief, the friendly, humble and hard working instructors there do a fantastic job of keeping their students motivated and inspired through a unique approach to martial study. I would recommend this to anyone. 🙂

I've been here for 5 years and i love it. Its an amazing martial arts, you get the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. They welcome you into the family with open arms and the chance to develop your strengths and weaknesses. This has given me so much strength physically and mentally and i couldn't have done it without their amazing instructors who will push you to your limits and beyond.

Cali had an absolute ball at Summer Sool. What a week, unbelievable how much you guys managed to fit in to entertain all those kids. Archery, board breaking, assault course, ceramic cafe, nerf guns, fort building, team building, acro balancing, form, sparring, t shirt designing etc and topped it off with an amazing demonstration for us parents. Thank you so much to all of the Kuk Sool team-would highly recommend and hope Cali can do it all again in the future. You guys all deserve a medal (or even a wine)

Best thing I’ve done! Walked through the doors into a hiit session followed by a thorough introduction to initial moves and breakfalls. It was the humour and welcoming atmosphere that made me return. I’ve never looked back! This dojang is well run with a strong focus on respect, commitment and teamwork. All of which blend into everyday life. SBN Craig and PSBN Tammy run a tight ship with a fab Kuk Sool family on board.

5 years ago my son asked to start Kuk Sool Won – his friend from nursery was doing this martial art and he wanted to go along and try. I took him along for a trial class and my daughter decided that she would like to try the class too. Well after the first class they both loved it and they were hooked. No class is ever the same and each week they would learn different parts of Kuk Sool Won syllabus – techniques, forms, self defence skills, weapons and sparring drills.
After 6 months of them having fun and learning new things I decided to take the plunge too and enrolled in the beginner’s class. I hadn’t really done a huge amount of exercise prior to starting so was a little apprehensive that I wasn’t fit enough. I shouldn’t have worried as my fitness has developed by attending class and pushing myself a little more during each class.
What a journey we have all had over the past 5 years learning new skills, taking part in demonstrations, challenging ourselves with tournaments all while having fun and meeting new people who have now become good friends. My proudest moment to date with Kuk Sool Won was when I promoted with my children to 1st degree black belt.
SBN Craig, PSBN Tammy and all the instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly and more than willing to help if you ever need it. The club is fun and friendly and it is the best thing I have done.

When I was told by my sons school they couldn’t do anything about him getting thrown to the ground and kicked in the face, I decided we (my husband and i) needed to do something so he could protect himself from that happening again. My friends son had not long started Kuk Sool and she recommended it to me. It took us four weeks of sitting outside to get him to even walk in the door. But he did and the instructors could not have done more to be encouraging and supportive to him.
Little brother started too, our reasoning for him was different - a kid full of energy that couldn’t literally sit still and needed a bit of focus.
Fast forward to today, we now have two black belts in the family and kids who understand respect, discipline and how hard work pays off. Competing at Scottish and UK tournaments have become great days out with friends and the club has a great family friendly atmosphere and organises social events to include everyone.
SBN Craig and PSBN Tammy have built a great school and their infectious enthusiasm is contagious.

Brilliant club for adults, teens and kids down to nursery age. My kids and I have been going for years, the variety of martial arts you learn is incredible, every training session is different and we are all always buzzing. Great team of instructors including teen black belts who help the younger kids, amazing role models! Would highly recommend Evolution TKMA to literally anyone wanting to get fit, learn new things and do super cool moves 🙂
